Mike Thompson, an Aurora-based family attorney and father of three, admitted Monday night in a Craigslist advertisement that he “wasn’t quite sure what he had” and encouraged “any reasonable or semi-reasonable offers.” The vehicle, a 2005 Saab 9-2X with just 23,000 miles, has been kept in perfect condition since Mr. Thompson inherited it from his late grandfather earlier this year. “We already have a minivan and a three-row crossover, so I just didn’t see the need to keep it,” Mr. Thompson admits. “It’s sort of a weird small wagon with a mediocre interior, not like the Saabs I remember as a kid.” He started his listing at $2,500 and said he’d be willing to personally finance it for the right buyer, or even trade the car for a diverse combination of random personal belongings. As of Tuesday morning , Mr. Thompson’s phone was out of storage due to the volume of text messages he had received overnight.

I took “second owner since 2011" as Craigslistese for “I’m the second owner, had it since 2011 ”, but maybe I’m giving credit where none is due.
